Discover exactly what comes in the Tonal Essential Accessories Bundle and whether this accessory kit is the right addition for your home gym setup.
Quick answer
The Tonal Essential Accessories Bundle includes Smart Handles, a Smart Bar with Control Module, Dual T Lock Rope, a Bench, Mat, and Roller—everything you need to expand your movement library and dial resistance with the touch of a button.
What each accessory adds to your workout
The Smart Handles and Smart Bar are the core of the bundle. They let you add dozens of additional movements beyond what the standard arms offer, and you can adjust resistance directly from the handle or bar without stepping away from the set. The Bar Control Module pairs wirelessly so you can dial weight up or down mid-rep.
The Dual T Lock Rope opens up cable-style exercises like tricep pushdowns, face pulls, and woodchoppers. Because it uses Tonal's T Lock system, swapping between the rope and other attachments takes seconds.
The Bench, Mat, and Roller round out the kit for floor-based and seated work. The Bench is sized to fit under the Tonal unit for storage, and the Mat provides enough cushion for knees and elbows during planks or lunges.
Trade-offs to consider before buying
The bundle is priced at USD 366.30 (compared to USD 495.00 if purchased separately), so you save roughly 26% by buying the kit. However, if you already own a bench, mat, or foam roller that you're happy with, you may not need the full bundle.
The Smart Bar and Smart Handles are only compatible with Tonal and require the Tonal unit to function. If you're planning to use the accessories with non-Tonal equipment, they won't work.
The bundle does not include a separate storage rack—the accessories are designed to be stored on the Tonal unit's built-in pegs or in a nearby drawer.
How to decide if this bundle is right for you
- You want to expand your exercise library: If you've maxed out the standard Tonal arm movements, the Smart Bar and Dual T Lock Rope unlock dozens of new exercises like rows, pullovers, and cable crossovers. Plan to spend a session learning the new attachment swaps so you can flow between exercises quickly.
- You value convenience over separate purchases: The bundle saves you about USD 128.70 compared to buying each item individually. If you need all seven pieces anyway, the kit is the cheaper route.
- You already own a bench, mat, or roller: You can buy the Smart Handles, Smart Bar, and Dual T Lock Rope separately. The bundle's savings come from the full set—if you skip the Bench, Mat, or Roller, the individual pricing may be more cost-effective. Check Tonal's individual accessory prices before assuming the bundle is always the best deal for partial needs.
